Operating the The Leeds Castle Balloon in Kent and the Out Of This World in Kent and Sussex, Airborne has grown rapidly to become the largest and most respected professional operation of this type in the Southern counties of the UK.

We operate from some of the most prestigious sites in the county, and fly over some of the prettiest countryside in the region. Seen from the air, the Weald of Kent and the rolling hills of Sussex offer a simply breathtaking spectacle – on a clear day the two counties can be seen from coast to coast!

To date, we have flown over 25,000 passengers in unparalleled comfort and safety.

We are the largest operator of hot air balloons in Kent and Sussex and have a full flight schedule with two flights per day, seven days per week, during our operating season.

We operate from the best and most popular venues in Kent and Sussex and our Flight Vouchers allow free entry into the meeting and launch venues so that your friends and family can watch the launch of the balloon.

Our Information and Booking Office is staffed by full time, trained and experienced personnel, only too willing to answer your queries or assist you with your flight booking – 7 days per week.

Airborne holds a CAA Air Operators Certificate (No. BL195) - a pre-requisite to operating passenger balloons.

Our modern, state-of-the art balloons are maintained to the highest standard and subject to rigorous annual inspections by CAA authorized inspectors.

A substantial number of our passenger bookings are from recommendations from people who have flown with us on an earlier occasion.
